According to Fightful Select, former WWE star Zelina Vega asked to speak with Vince McMahon prior to her departure just so she could say goodbye to the Chairman, with the request being denied. The report notes that there was no mention of Vega being escorted from the building after that occurred as previously reported.
One superstar on the Raw roster did mention to the publication that getting a meeting with McMahon is difficult even for talent still employed by WWE, so Vega’s chances of seeing him after being released were slim to none.
The report also mentions that many in the locker room shared words of encouragement to Vega after news broke of her release.
