We are slowly heading towards the end of the season in Ligue 2 and who says end of the season obviously means high-stakes matches at the top of the table and at the bottom. In the traditional Saturday 7 p.m. multiplex, FC Metz had no room for error against Guingamp. With Bordeaux’s victory against Laval, the Messins absolutely had to win so as not to considerably reduce their chances of going up. But despite the opening of the score of the inevitable Georges Mikautadze, Metz conceded a draw (1-1) which hurts. Because with this draw, Bordeaux is three points two days from the end. And it therefore now takes a Bordeaux defeat to hope to overtake them in the final sprint…

At the bottom of the table, Nîmes and Dijon competed for a place in L2. And finally, the Crocos conceded a defeat which officially condemns the club to relegation (1-2). Nîmes will evolve in National next season. Dijon, with this victory, made a great operation and regained a 2-point lead over the red zone (while waiting for the Valenciennes match). Pau made a bad operation for the maintenance by bowing very heavily against Bastia (2-6). Note the great victory of Saint-Etienne against QRM (4-2).
