Ajroudi announced a €200m agreement with OM
In an interview given to Attessia TV, Ajroudi announced that he had reached an agreement with Marseille officials to buy theOM. “ OM is a club that I love, the price was €200m, there was an agreement in principle, some media campaigned against me, that’s normal. The information came out before the final act said the Tunisian last November.
“He never had contact with McCourt”
In an interview at Sunday newspaper, Boudjellal delivered his truth. According to him, Ajroudi never discussed with McCourt these last months. “ He just wanted to go back and forth. And above all, he lied because he never had contact with McCourt, when he assured me. The media coverage drove him crazy. I was attributed press releases that I discovered at the same time as the press. Where it was said that the players were bad or that an ultimatum to sell was given. An ultimatum, McCourt has nothing to wax. We were totally delirious, ridiculous ” did he declare.
“So much the better that it didn’t happen with OM”
Boudjellal then insisted on making his mea culpa. ” In this story, I let myself be seduced, it was exciting. I never wanted to buy OM. Sure. I haven’t been good, but I don’t care about my image. Even Picasso made drafts (…) So much the better that it was not done with OM. It was too big to start. I think I would have failed miserably. And that I would have been driven out of Marseilles with tar and feathers he confided.
