According to Fightful Select, former WWE superstar Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder) had pitched WWE a number of original online web and WWE Network programs during his time there, but the company wasn’t interested in any of them. The report notes that Cardona learned ten years ago doing his vlog that anytime you use WWE IP the WWE owns it, which is why his Major Wrestling Figures podcast with Brian Myers is completely owned by them and cannot be co-opted by WWE.
