Kurt Angle to Replace Mick Foley as Raw General Manager

Kurt Angle is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at the end of March as part of WrestleMania 33 weekend in Orlando, Florida. The latest WWE rumors imply that Angle is going to be part of WWE television moving forward and he is expected to replace Mick Foley as the general manager of Monday Night Raw.

GM in the past several weeks. It is widely known that Foley is going to be written off of television very soon. He will undergo a full hip replacement surgery and he needs several months off, per Wrestling Inc.

Angle is the perfect superstar to be the Raw general manager since fans are dying to see him in the WWE once again. He does not have to wrestle on a regular basis and he can have the same role as Shane McMahon. He can wrestle part-time and on special events like the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series.

Angle’s history with Stephanie McMahon is also a comedy gold and they are going to be pretty entertaining to watch. It will give a lot of older fans nostalgic feeling since Angle and Stephanie have great chemistry.
