Becky Lynch and Kofi Kingston made a joint appearance on the “Boomer & Gio Radio Show”. During the interview, they were asked about the fan attack on Bret Hart at the Hall of Fame ceremony. Here is what they had to say on the matter:
Kingston: Our fans are very passionate, to say the least. It’s one of those things where you just never know. A lot of people didn’t’ know what was going on until it was actually happening, so we just did what we had to do and get in there and protect our own.
Lynch: I trust our team, and you could see how quickly people reacted, and of course in the wrestling industry we’re used to seeing run-ins. For some people, it would almost be jarring, but the likes of Kofi were in there like a shot, and the situation was taken care of.
