Just like France, Belgium has its new captain! After the international retirements of Hugo Lloris and Eden Hasard, the two tricolor selections, embodied by Didier Deschamps and Domenico Tedesco, had to find the new bosses of their first team and it is now done. If Kylian Mbappé is the new captain of the France team, in Belgium it is Kevin De Bruyne who will take over the captain’s armband.
With 97 selections for 25 achievements, the Manchester City player is now the right arm of the new Red Devils coach, Domenico Tedesco. Roberto Martinez’s successor has therefore chosen an important element of the Belgian selection. Finally, while Kevin De Bruyne takes over the captaincy of Belgium, Thibaut Courtois and Romelu Lukaku are, for their part, the new vice-captains of the Red Devils.
