Jorge Sampaoli wants to draw at Olympique de Marseille. According to information from Report, the 62-year-old Argentinian technician is considering recruiting Gerson (25) to replace Isco (30) at Sevilla FC. The Spanish media specifies, however, that this operation is currently difficult to carry out from an economic point of view, hence the fact that this track is, for the moment, not really activated by the Andalusian management.
Under contract until June 2026 with OM, Gerson has been on the move for many weeks. First announced on the Flamengo side, the attacking midfielder was ultimately unable to return to the country, because the Brazilian club did not want to pay the sum (€20m) claimed by the Phocaeans. The latter still hope to complete the departure of Gerson this winter. In the meantime, Sampaoli is crossing his fingers.
