“I’m pretty confident,” he replied. The R&A recently announced that LIV players would be eligible for the next British Open (at Royal Liverpool) and more recently the Augusta National indicated that all qualified LIV players could play in the next Masters. »
“Grand Slam tournaments want to bring together the best players in the world,” he continues. And that’s what we want too. As often as possible. This has never really been the case because players play on different circuits around the world. These are the big meetings that bring together the most players possible because they are the ones that produce the best golf. That’s what I think will make the difference…”
