2022 FINA SHORT COURSE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hali Flickinger swam a strong race in the women’s 400 IM, going out well ahead of the pack and holding on to win gold. Flickinger says it has been a very different fall for her, seeming to be in a reflective state while she figures out where she fits into both life and swimming.

Given this headspace, her goal coming into these world championships was simply to have fun, something she says she hasn’t done in a long time. Tonight she shared that she had met that goal, enjoying racing and being around her Team USA teammates.
