Tekken 7 has one of the widest rosters of characters available across the top fighting games, each fighter with a special move set, and different potential. If you really want to compete and get high in the Tekken 7 ranks, you’ll need to take every advantage you can get. That starts with using the right characters, those from the top of the Tekken 7 tier list.
At this point, the meta between characters is much more stable than for a fresh game like a MultiVersus tier list. We have a decent idea of where all the characters stand. There’s still room for surprises in a Tekken 7 tier list. Although, it doesn’t change too much. A current ranking is different from a Tekken 7 tier list, but it’s probably not going to change much anymore given we’re awaiting the next Tekken title.

Looking at how the characters get played at high levels and the potential from their moves, combos, and more, we can make a pretty clear ranking of everything. This is the Tekken 7 Tier List and which characters are the strongest out there.
S Tier
The S Tier picks are completely stand-out characters. You’re going to see these ranking highly in most major Tekken esports tournaments. They all have abilities and moves which are going to give you the most options in each game. You still need skill, but these characters all have the kit to give you the best chance of success.

A Tier
The A Tier is definitely a step below the S Tier, but these are still some of the best characters in the game. You can take these fighters all the way to the top ranks, but you might have to work a bit harder than those in the S Tier of a Tekken tier list. They’re strong in a lot of places and spending your time mastering their kit can you great odds of victory.

B Tier
The B Tekken 7 tier list is around the middle of the road. These are all solid choices. They have good combos and some moves which can be particularly useful. They don’t have any inherent advantages over most of the roster though.

This is where things get a bit more mixed. Some players can really still do special things with these picks. Although, they’re a bit more lacking. They have clear holes in their moves and some flaws that make high-tier characters great counters that can outplay them.

D Tier
This is roughly the bottom tier, the worst characters in the game. Those in this section of the Tekken 7 tier list have some pretty clear problems. You’re not going to get the furthest with them unless you’re a very skilled player that can elevate them. Some of these are better than others, but in a Tekken tier list they all have obvious issues that stop them from rising any further.

That’s roughly where all of the characters sit. There’s some room for manoeuvring among these tiers though. Different players will have different skill sets which makes them better suited to using characters more than others. If your preferred character isn’t quite the S-tier, they’re still usable. However, you might be working a bit harder compared to those who are going for the high-tier characters with the most potential.
