Emma Raducanu gets another negative record

on

Emma Raducanu dropped out of the top-300 position in the WTA Ranking.

The Briton bot this negative record but from now on she has practically no points to defend this season and will therefore be able to start the clay court season in the best possible way. Barring sensational twists, the Briton will participate in the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart, a tournament that will begin on April 15th.

In Stuttgart Emma played her last tournament just last year before undergoing three surgeries: Raducanu went out in the first round and therefore has no points to defend this season.

At Indian Wells and Miami, Raducanu showed signs of recovery, she reached the third round in Indian Wells while she exited in the first round in Miami but still fought against the world number two Aryna Sabalenka, winner only with the result of 6- 3 7-5.

Emma dropped in the WTA ranking

Many are waiting for her to recover but at the moment she is struggling to take off. We saw some small signs but nothing more and this week the British tennis player went beyond the 300th position in the WTA Ranking.

The tennis player won the US Open at 19 years old to everyone’s surprise and since then she has no longer been able to offer that level of tennis. Injuries, perhaps a few too many distractions, but Emma, apart from a few small flashes of light, has found great difficulties and this week she even dropped beyond 300th position in the rankings.

It must be said that it had already happened to him a few months ago but it was only linked to injuries and the tennis player tried to recover with some difficulty. Emma had improved to number 250 by the start of March, then she had to defend points in Indian Wells and Miami where things didn’t go well and she was relegated again in the rankings.
