Drew McIntyre Shoots On WWE Superstars Complaining On Social Media (Video)

on

Ahead of their showdown at WrestleMania 35 next Sunday, Drew McIntyre delivered a message to Roman Reigns in what essentially was a shoot promo about the social media factor in WWE.

Following his tag-team match with Baron Corbin against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at the WWE Supershow live event at the WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia on Saturday night, “The Scottish Psychopath” cut a backstage promo on “The Big Dog.”

“Eight days until WrestleMania,” McIntyre started in the promo, which you can watch in full below. “You would think I would be in a great mood, but I’m not. I just walked through our locker room, and what do I hear … oh the usual complaining, but you all know all about that. You follow our Superstars on social media. They don’t keep it back here, they broadcast it to the world. ‘Oh, I don’t like how I’m being used right now.’ [or] ‘Oh say something nice about me [and] what I should be doing and I’ll re-tweet you.’”

McIntyre continued, elaborating on his belief that Superstars complain too much these days when they should be working on perfecting their craft.

“Not bettering themselves like I don’t know, like going to the gym to get in shape [or] get better in the ring [or] get better at verbalizing themselves,” said McIntyre. “No, they’d just rather complain because they’re completely entitled.”

From there, McIntyre set his sights on Reigns.

“Who do I blame for this? When did this happen? I’m gonna look to the top guy. I’m gonna look to the leader. I’m gonna look to Roman Reigns,” said McIntyre. “It’s easy to be the big dog around here when you’re leading a pack of strays. If this is your yard — you can stick it! Because after I beat you at WrestleMania, I am gonna re-imagine RAW as my jungle.”

WrestleMania 35, featuring the Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns match, takes place next Sunday, April 7th, airing live on pay-per-view and via the WWE Network from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
