Details on Buys for the 2020 AEW Double Or Nothing PPV

on

The B/R Live and FIVE.TV streaming buys for AEW’s 2020 Double Or Nothing pay-per-view were up more than 10% from February’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view, and could be up 15% when all is accounted for, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Double Or Nothing drew between 100,000 and 110,000 buys, which would be the second-highest number in company history, going back to the 2019 Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

B/R Live accounts for United States buys while FITE covers international buys.

There’s no hard data available for cable pay-per-view buys yet, but it was speculated that if following the same trend, Double Or Nothing 2020 would fall in the 115,000 – 120,000 range, taking the spot as the most-purchased pay-per-view event in AEW history.

It could take up to 3 months for non-streaming buys to be finalized, which means the final numbers for Revolution will be available in the next few weeks.

Double Or Nothing 2020 looks to have done between 115,000 and 120,000 total buys, as mentioned above. Revolution 2020 drew an estimated 100,000 – 105,000 buys while Full Gear 2019 drew 100,000 buys, All Out 2019 drew 101,000 buys, Double Or Nothing 2019 drew 100,000 – 110,000 buys. All In from September 2018, which was held before AEW launched, drew a reported 50,000 buys.
