Daniel Bryan is Healthy Now and Waiting for WWE to use Him, Suffered a Concussion

Recently, The Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan appeared in the “Boomer & Carton” show on New York’s WFAN, Where he says that he suffered a concussion, is healthy now, and is waiting for WWE to use him again in their plans. This was the first time that either Bryan or anyone from WWE has publicly stated what type of injury has kept the former champion out-of-action the last four months.

He goes on to say that he has a history of concussions, and that now-a-days (especially due to the number of lawsuits filed against WWE for their “brutality” and lack of care for concussions) it takes forever to get cleared to compete again after you suffer one. Corey Graves, who was a superstar in NXT before becoming an announcer, was asked to retire by WWE due to the fact that he continuously suffered concussions in the ring.

Bryan would go on to saw that he was cleared to return to action by a neurologist in Phoenix, Arizona, who worked for the NFL during SuperBowl weekend. However, he thinks that WWE and the WWE medical team do not want to clear him because they are scared that he will suffer another concussion, and they will be liable. This is frustrating for the superstar, who is arguably one of the most popular names on the company roster. He has been completely healthy for weeks, but WWE just won’t use him out of fear.

Bryan claims that he feels amazing and really wants to return as soon as possible, but he doesn’t know when, or if, WWE doctors will allow him to wrestle again. The company’s resident “YES! man” claims that he has three years left on his current WWE contract, and is ready to return to work.
