During today’s call with the media to promote AEW Double or Nothing, superstar Cody Rhodes spoke about his relationship with boxing legend Iron Mike Tyson, and how is appearance at Saturday’s pay per view was a last minute addition.
Over the course of the year, we’ve really come to respect him as a fan of what we do. He’s a hardcore AEW fan. I would say, though, that’s one of the last touches that was put on ‘Double or Nothing.’ In terms of who will be the one to present the champion, someone with an element of prestige. That’s what Mike is there to do Saturday night.
