Bayern Munich: the three reinforcements required by Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel would have asked three reinforcements to his leaders, for the summer transfer window. The German technician would like to see the arrival of a goalkeeper, a midfielder and a striker.

Freshly inducted coach of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel did not wait long to express his ambitions for the transfer window. The former PSG and Chelsea technician has already targeted three players to strengthen his team for next season.

According CalcioMercato, the new coach of the Bavarian club discussed with management the profiles that could improve his workforce. Among them are familiar faces from Thomas Tuchel’s teams.

Two former Tuchel players at Chelsea

Mateo Kovacic would top the list. The Croatian midfielder from Chelsea has already worked with Thomas Tuchel and could bring depth to the Bayern Munich squad. Manchester City would also be in the running to recruit the player.

Edouard Mendy, the Senegalese goalkeeper, is another former protege of Thomas Tuchel. The two men won the Champions League together under the colors of Chelsea. Injured for most of the season, the player trained at OM could leave London, where Graham Potter wants to recruit a new doorman.

Finally, Federico Chiesa, versatile winger of Juventus, also catches the eye of Thomas Tuchel. His technical qualities and his versatility on the attacking front could be an asset for Bayern Munich. Juventus’ difficult economic situation could force them to part ways with the Italy international for a relatively affordable cost.

Thomas Tuchel will have to deal with the high expectations of Bayern Munich supporters in the coming months.
