– WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio was attacked by a fan as he worked a WWC event in Bayamon, Puerto Rico last weekend. Del Rio was there as WWE allowed him to fulfill that booking. During a match against Ray Gonzalez, a fan nailed Del Rio in the back while he was outside of the ring. The incident was quickly broken up by security and the fan was thrown out. The match continued and ended in DQ when Gonzalez’ Figure-Four on Del Rio was broken up by El Hijo de Dos Caras, who is Del Rio’s younger brother and former WWE developmental talent Memo Montenegro.
