-According to the Wrestling Observer, the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite from Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea will not air live, and instead tape one day prior on January 21st. Reports are that the cruise will consist of three hours of wrestling a day except for the Dynamite taping on Tuesday, which will only be two hours. The full AEW roster is expected to appear on the cruise.
-The Observer also notes that AEW VP Cody Rhodes has acquired the trademark to the name “Dusty Rhodes.” The American Nightmare had discussed potentially writing a book on his father, but was unable to do so since WWE owned the rights at the time. That is obviously no longer the case. This was done at the same time Rhodes trademarked “Bash at the Beach” and “Blood and Guts” to be used for future AEW events.
