This Friday evening, PSG begins its series of preparation matches against Le Havre, champion of Ligue 2 and promoted at the end of the season. A meeting that should allow Luis Enrique to give playing time to many players in the squad.

One of them may not take part in the meeting, the victim of a burglary and assaulted last night. This is Gianluigi Donnarumma, says the news site News17reported by our colleagues from The Team. The Ile-de-France goalkeeper and his partner, both present at their home in the 8th arrondissement, were victims of an attack and a burglary on the night of Thursday to Friday.

Tied up and at gunpoint

According to the additional information provided by theAFP, the couple would have been tied up and threatened with a weapon, while the criminals seized a loot estimated at 500,000 euros in watches, jewelry and other luxury leather goods, explains the media. The Italian goalkeeper was reportedly slightly injured in the attack.

Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessia Elefante then took refuge in a luxury hotel near their home where the staff contacted the police before the couple, in a state of shock, were taken to hospital. The Team tells us that the BRB has opened an investigation.

The former AC Milan goalkeeper joins a long list of PSG players who have experienced the same misadventure: Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Angel Di Maria, Dani Alves, Presnel Kimpembe, Éric Choupo-Moting, Sergio Rico and Mauro Icardi. With the difference that, in the vast majority of cases, the players were not on the spot at the time of the attack, but on the field.
